The conflict between democrats and republicans is a deliberately created distraction from the real issue. The real issue is that the elites (CEOs of large corporations, top executives and traders at Wall Street banks, private equity and hedge-fund managers, and other moneyed interests) have seized power from the middle class in order to enrich themselves. The average worker has lost economic power and political clout, making it almost impossible to achieve the American Dream.
